The Part 107 limits you fly inside on every flight, drawn as shapes: the 400 ft ceiling and the bubble around tall structures, line of sight from you and your observer, light at dusk and night, top speed and Remote ID. Click to move the drone and watch each rule pass or fail.
Each card ties one rule to something you can change above.
§107.51(b): no higher than 400 ft above ground level, unless you're within a 400 ft radius of a structure. Then you may fly up to 400 ft above the structure's top.
Move the drone next to the tower and raise it past 400 ft.
§107.31: you, the person on the controls, or your visual observer must be able to see the drone with unaided eyes (glasses are fine) well enough to know where it is, which way it's going, and to spot traffic and hazards. No fixed distance appears in the rule.
Fly the drone far away, then add a VO.
§107.29: you can fly at night and during civil twilight with anti-collision lighting visible for 3 statute miles. Night flying also needs the current knowledge test or recurrent training.
Slide the time past 7:30 pm with lights off.
§107.51(a): groundspeed no more than 87 kt (100 mph). Part 107 drones must weigh under 55 lb at takeoff, payload included.
Push the speed past 100 mph.
Part 89: a drone that must be registered has to broadcast Remote ID, either built in (Standard RID) or with a broadcast module. Without either, you may only fly at an FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA).
Pick "No Remote ID".
§107.51(c)–(d): 3 statute miles flight visibility from the control station, 500 ft below clouds and 2,000 ft horizontally from them. The Clouds module shows the clearance box.
Drop visibility below 3 SM.
